About Our Transitional Pastor

The Reverend Robert BobGoossen began serving as transitional pastor for North Sewickley Presbyterian Church on January 1, 2021. He studied at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and has served churches in Indiana County, Callery, New Brighton and Beaver, Pennsylvania. He is delighted to be spending this season with the North Sewickley church family as they prepare to call their next pastor, in God’s good time.

Pastor Bob traces his roots to a dairy farm in Nebraska where he grew up with tractors, corn and lots of Holsteins. After college, he began a teaching career in Junior High Industrial Arts. During one of those summers, while working at First Presbyterian Church Camp near Ligonier with their wilderness adventure programs, he met ChrisAnn.

Bob and ChrisAnn live in Harmony where she works for our Presbytery, focusing on communications. They enjoy renovating their 1890s folk Victorian house, gardening, woodworking, canoeing and trips to the Smoky Mountains. They have one son, Nick, who lives in mid-state New York.
